Dragons have five claws, four claws and three claws.

Before the Yuan Dynasty, the dragon spine had three claws, sometimes the first two feet had three claws, and the last two feet had four claws. Further on, the Zhou Dynasty was exquisite and unique. The emperor used five-claw dragons, the princes used four claws, and the following literati used three claws.

As for the saying that we often hear that "five claws are dragons and four claws are pythons", it was formed in the Qing Dynasty. It is mainly manifested in the difference of clothing styles between emperors and ministers. The emperor wears "dragon robes" and other royal families and ministers wear "embroidered robes", but this is only the difference in name. Judging from the shape of dragons, dragons and pythons are quadrupeds, and there is no difference in appearance.

The reason why dragons appear
