Silver lily
Silver lily
It belongs to the buttercup family (Ranunculaceae) silver lily genus (Anemone) about more than one hundred and fifty kinds of perennial or annual herbaceous plants flowers of the general name. And because the development of silver lily (A. patens), grass silver lily (A. pratensis) and white-headed silver lily (A. pulsatilla) and other symbols of Easter, and its flowers seem to be blown open by the wind, so it is also known as "windflower" (windflower), "Easter flower" (Pasqueflower).

Silver lily plants belong to the buttercup family and are perennial herbs. Its plant height is generally between 30 and 60 cm, basal leaves 4--8, petiole length 6--30 cm, sparsely villous; leaf blade rounded reniform, three divided; flowers 2 to 5, 3.5 to 5 cm in diameter, white or pinkish; achenes with long woolly hairs, some varieties such as poppy-like silver lotus (poppy autumn peony, A. coronaria) have tuber; ovule inside the bead is covered with a layer of (similar to the silver lotus). Their flowers are usually in the spring, with some species flowering in the fall. Those that bloom in spring include Apennine silver lotus (A. apennina), Greek silver lotus (A. blanda) and peacock-like silver lotus (A. pavonina). The Lakeland golden lotus (A. hupehensis), or Japanese silver lily (A. japonica), is a popular fall blooming flower along border beds. Many species are cultivated in gardens for their brightly colored flowers.
