Common organizational forms of teaching process

1, class teaching system:

Class teaching system, also known as classroom teaching, is a form of collective teaching. It is a form of teaching organization that organizes a certain number of students into fixed classes according to their age and knowledge level, and arranges teachers to give collective lectures to the whole class in a planned way according to the weekly schedule and schedule.

2. Individual teaching system:

In ancient China, Egypt and Greece, most schools adopted individual teaching methods. Teachers impart knowledge to students, arrange inspections and correct homework individually, that is, teachers teach students one by one in turn; When a teacher is teaching a student, the rest of the students review or do their homework according to the teacher's requirements. The most obvious advantage of individualized teaching system is that teachers can teach students in accordance with their aptitude, making the teaching content and progress suitable for each student's acceptance ability. Therefore, in individual teaching, because each student's acceptance ability and efforts are different, even the students who are enlightened at the same time will have great differences in their learning progress. This is the oldest form of teaching organization.

3. Design teaching method and Dalton system:

Design teaching method is a form of teaching organization founded by American educator Ke Yu 19 18. It advocates abolishing the class teaching system and teaching materials, breaking the traditional disciplinary boundaries, and under the guidance of teachers, students decide their own learning objectives and contents, and acquire relevant knowledge and ability in unit activities designed and responsible by themselves.

Dalton system was put forward by American educator Burkhorst in 1920, which means that teachers no longer systematically teach textbooks to students in class, but only give students self-study reference books and homework, and students study and homework independently, and only ask teachers for guidance when they encounter problems. After completing a certain stage of learning tasks, students report their learning situation and accept the assessment.

Design teaching method and Dalton system are opposite to class teaching system.
