3. Design teaching method and Dalton system:

Design teaching method is a form of teaching organization founded by American educator Ke Yu 19 18. It advocates abolishing the class teaching system and teaching materials, breaking the traditional disciplinary boundaries, and under the guidance of teachers, students decide their own learning objectives and contents, and acquire relevant knowledge and ability in unit activities designed and responsible by themselves.

Dalton system was put forward by American educator Burkhorst in 1920, which means that teachers no longer systematically teach textbooks to students in class, but only give students self-study reference books and homework, and students study and homework independently, and only ask teachers for guidance when they encounter problems. After completing a certain stage of learning tasks, students report their learning situation and accept the assessment.

Design teaching method and Dalton system are opposite to class teaching system.
