What is the difference between baseband chip and RF chip?

Baseband chip and RF chip are two key components in a wireless communication system, and they differ in function and application:

Baseband chip: the baseband chip is responsible for processing digital signals, i.e., the low-frequency part of the signal. It mainly includes digital signal processor (DSP), modem, codec and other functional modules. In general, baseband chips handle digital signals and are responsible for signal processing and modulation and demodulation; while RF chips handle RF signals and are responsible for signal amplification, modulation and demodulation.
