When is the Songkran Festival in Thailand?
Every April 13, on the streets of Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, some young people throw water at each other, and more than 20 girls dressed in holiday costumes happily dance traditional Burmese dances on the open-air stage. Open-top water splashing vehicles are carrying men, women and children slowly across the water splashing platform beside the stage. Dozens of girls on the platform spray cold water on the people in the vehicles with colored plastic hoses. This is the scene of water splashing in front of the city hall in Yangon, the capital of Myanmar, and it also marks the scene of water splashing.
