The eight basic techniques of Taijiquan?
The eight methods are:arrow-quiver, stroke, squeeze, press, pick, hold, elbow, lean.
Modern Taijiquan and traditional boxing both consist of eight methods and five steps. The eight methods are: arrow-quiver, stroking, squeezing, pressing, picking, elbowing, leaning. The five steps are: advance, retreat, Gu, hope, fixed.
Eight kinds of strength:
1, arrow-quiver strength: arrow-quiver strength is upward and forward strength.
2. Stroke strength: in Taijiquan, it is called the "transforming strength".
3. Squeeze: Squeeze is an offensive force.
4. Pressing force: offensive force at the right time.
