Yangzhou and Chengdu, although located in the east and west, are very similar sister cities, such as slow life, cuisine category, official language, are the first batch of China's ancient cultural cities, etc., and they each have their own unique characteristics, which complement each other. Yangzhou, because of the canal and salt industry, from the Han Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty began a continuous prosperity, a variety of times elite gathered in Yangzhou, Yangzhou cultural excellence, high and flourishing, the full range of achievements and attainments combined to create Yangzhou's beautiful name.

In terms of traditional Chinese culture, Chengdu may be more likely to spread out in terms of the influence of the city, and Yangzhou may not be as good as Suzhou in this regard. Of course this has a lot to do with the economic level of the city, and comparing statuses is not necessary.

In terms of traditional culture, I think many cities that have a history of being ancient capitals have a high status, which varies from period to period and from dynasty to dynasty, such as Nanjing, Chang'an, Hangzhou and so on. These are all great and wonderful cities. The contributions are equally great and it's better not to compare them.
