Why do some Indian men wear headscarves?

1. There are many ethnic religions in India. One of the characteristics of Sikhs in India is that it is difficult to distinguish Baotou by face. It is their religious habit to cover their heads with headscarves, but not all Sikhs in Baotou, because Hindus are traditionally Baotou, but the shape of Baotou is different. Hindu baotou should be called wrapping head, because cotton cloth goes parallel around the edge of the head; Sikh's Baotou is to wrap the whole head hair and even ears, and after wrapping it, it is in the shape of a triangular tip above the forehead.

Now, except Sikhs, they can stick to their tradition of Baotou, and Hindus rarely see Baotou. Often only in important traditional festivals, weddings and other important occasions, Hindu men will solemnly put on traditional costumes and wrap their heads in cloth. When Sikhs were young, both men and women wore a strange hairstyle-the first half of the hair was tied in a bun above the forehead, and the second half was woven into a braided hair and turned up to tightly wrap the top of the head. Then the hair was wrapped in dark cotton cloth (with a special name called Patka) and covered with a thin layer, so the hairstyle still appeared.
