Bows and arrows are important weapons in ancient times.
Bows and arrows are important weapons in ancient times. However, the East and the West draw bows and arrows in different ways. Have you seen all the different archery methods on the screen?
The bow drawing method we often use in modern archery is commonly used in the west and is called "Mediterranean shooting". Among them, it is characterized by using the index finger, middle finger and ring finger to hook the string side by side, and the arrow shaft is on the left side of the bow (when the right hand pulls the string). In the west where a single bow is used, this method of pulling strings is acceptable. A single bow is long, often as high as a person. After the bow is full, the angle formed by the index finger is basically an obtuse angle.
But in the east, compound bows are popular, and the bows are shorter. When the hand is full, the bowstring is pointed, and the method of pulling the string on it will squeeze the finger.
Therefore, the "Mongolian shooting method" is often used in the East. It is characterized by hooking the string with the thumb, wearing a thumb ring on the thumb to protect the fingers, pressing the thumb with the index finger and middle finger when pulling the string, and placing the arrow shaft on the right side of the bow. In fact, this shooting method was adopted by China people as early as Shang Dynasty.
Western scholars call it "Mongolian shooting" because the first time they saw it, including the compound bow, they all went through the western expedition of Mongolia. 1976 A jade ring was unearthed in the tomb of Nu Wa Hao in Yin Ruins, which is about 3200 years ago. In actual combat, thumb rings are mostly made of stones and bones. Nowadays, people often say that Banzhi, a plaything, was developed by Manchu nobles from this thumb ring.
The characteristics of the two shooting methods are compared in the art books of the Song Dynasty, and there are also two shooting methods in the ancient portraits of China. Comparatively speaking, Mongolian shooting method has better accuracy, stability and rapidity, and is more suitable for riding and shooting and compound bow. Especially on horseback, due to the lack of stability, Mediterranean shooting can only be shot once in advance, and it is difficult to shoot again with one arrow.
Chinese archery, you may also see such a special object, that is, "she" refers to a hand guard tool, which is brought to the hook finger to buckle the bowstring. At the same time, when releasing the arrow, it can also prevent the bowstring pulled back quickly from scratching your fingers.
The ancients also called it "machine", which is similar to "trigger", indicating that the wrench refers to pulling the trigger. Appearing in many costume dramas, people feel like a decoration, while others symbolize rights.
Dysprosium was first seen in the Shang Dynasty (from17th century BC to1th century BC), and it was very common to use banzhi during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period (from 8th century BC to 3rd century BC). Before the Qing army entered the customs, Han people used a deer bone wrench to point their fingers, which turned yellow and light brown with age, and those with eyes were the most expensive.
