In 2019, the admission score for Chengdu Institute of Physical Education's single-admission cultural courses: around 200 points; the admission score for special programs: around 184 points.

Recently, the State Sports General Administration issued the "2019 Admissions Management Measures for Sports Training, Martial Arts and National Traditional Sports Majors in General Colleges and Universities".

Different from previous years, where the sports special examination was organized by each school or the national unified examination for individual items, starting from 2018, the special sports examination will adopt the national unified examination and regional unified examination for different items.

In 2019, there were 92 colleges and universities offering sports training majors for single-sport admissions, one less than in 2018.

There are 51 independent sports colleges offering martial arts and traditional ethnic sports majors, one more than in 2018.

Examination methods and admission dates have also changed.

When enrolling students in physical education majors, the admission control line for cultural scores for individual sports admissions should be no less than 180 points. The admission control line for cultural scores for individual sports admissions shall be comprehensively determined by each sports independent admissions school based on the actual situation of the school.
