Difference between porou ceramics and foam ceramics
Different porosity and manufacturing methods.
The porosity values of porous ceramics and foam ceramics are different, and the porosity of porous ceramics is much lower than that of foam ceramics. They are made in different ways. Porous ceramics are mostly formed by extrusion, while foam ceramics are formed by precursor method.
Porous ceramics not only have the advantages of high chemical stability, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and high strength of ordinary ceramic materials, but also have new characteristics such as small volume density, large specific surface area and high porosity.
