Photo album shooting skills

Shooting is to record images of people and things with cameras and video recorders. Different scenes have different shooting techniques, including night scene shooting, rain scene shooting, building shooting, portrait shooting and so on. Film dynamic art shooting is also a kind of shooting, but it must follow certain principles. With the progress of science and technology, shooting has become more and more simple and popular. The following is my collection of practical photo album shooting skills, I hope to help you.

Photo album shooting process

Assuming that the subject is not a professional model or photographer, what skills can make photos as natural as Japanese photos?

1, looking for a suitable shooting distance.

For friends or family members who are not professional models, the distance between the photographer and the subject is very important. If two people who are used to standing close to each other are too far away, they will easily get nervous. Unlike the model who is a stranger, the closer the photographer is to the model, the more nervous the model is. Just like there is a reassuring distance between the photographer and the subject, when shooting within this distance, the characters will be natural. For lovers, it is most appropriate to be close enough to hug each other at any time. Usually, the author will give his girlfriend a hug after taking a photo. The relationship between the two is more like falling in love than photography, and the girlfriend's attention is not on taking pictures.

A few years ago, the author began to create something. This series of photos takes facial expression close-up as the theme, and shows the relationship between the characters and the author with stable facial expression and very close distance. At a short distance, people naturally look like photographers or lenses don't exist, and the audience may wonder who the girl in the photo is, which is someone's intention. Someone's protagonist is the author's girlfriend.

2. Don't ask the other person to make an action that he hasn't done.

There are many ways for photographers to make models achieve their desired movements and expressions, such as showing reference photos to each other, letting them substitute for a role, or letting them do continuous movements to capture the desired moments. However, if the other party is unprofessional and unskilled, it will definitely be unnatural. At the same time, the viewer can see at a glance that the protagonist in the photo is playing a model. This is because the other person is doing something he has never done, and he is not familiar with this action and your requirements, so let the other person be himself. Make your thoughts clear first, let the other person know your expectations, and tell the other person that you can stand anywhere you want, as long as you are comfortable.

Just open a photo album, the heroine's actions are just like her original part, simply showing her true self. Portrait photography is to discover the essential characteristics of the other person first, and then zoom in with the camera. The actress in the same photo has a similar impression in several excellent portrait photos, because this impression is her characteristic.

3. Don't take photos too seriously.

Everyone takes pictures very seriously, because they have been thinking when taking pictures, which has caused this impression. If the other person has no experience of being photographed, he will be scared. Photographers often try to relax models, but anyone who sees such a serious expression will be nervous. When some photographers encounter this problem, they will choose to shift their eyes from the viewfinder to the subject, chat face to face, press the shutter as soon as they want to see it, and give up the accuracy of composition in exchange for natural photos.

This technique is really practical, but if the photographer uses a negative camera, the situation is different. The person who is photographed will be afraid of poor performance and waste the photographer's negative film, and then the whole person will be very serious and it is impossible to take natural photos. I like to shoot my girlfriend with Polaroid, and the average photo is 5 yuan. She is very concerned about whether she will waste the film because of her performance. The author's solution is to give up the time of fine-tuning the composition, don't look at the viewfinder, pick up the camera and press the shutter, and shoot a box of negatives for 5 minutes until the other party says, "You look like you took it casually", and then tell the other party that you don't care about the negatives and shooting methods. It sounds like burning money, but after the other person doesn't care, every photo has the quality of the work, and the other person will be very satisfied with the photo.

4. Don't play music casually.

Playing music is a common skill, creating an atmosphere with emotional music, so that the subject's mood can enter the desired shooting state. In order to avoid the wrong choice of the other party who doesn't feel the music, the photographer will ask the photographer to choose for himself. But when the subject really enters the state, because the subject is intoxicated in his own world, photographers often can't control each other. In addition, the subject who becomes emotional will pay attention to his own feelings. At this time, the subject can't concentrate on understanding your instructions at the same time, but on the other hand, he should concentrate on his inner world. So, the result is a strange expression. If you want to play this skill, I think the photographer should just follow the other person and don't let the other person concentrate on understanding the instructions. If this is the first time we meet, I think this skill is useless. It is difficult for ordinary people to show their emotional side in front of strangers.

5. Let the other person master your personality as soon as possible.

Usually taking pictures of strangers, we usually get familiar with them in the middle of shooting, and then wait until the scene is over before taking satisfactory photos. Both sides have always been unprofessional. If the two sides get along well, the one being photographed will not be too nervous and alert, so it is easy for photographers to take natural photos, so in order to get familiar with each other as soon as possible, let them know your personality as soon as possible.

When communicating with strangers, both sides will take time to explore each other's personality, and then decide which appropriate way or attitude to get along with each other. Before realizing each other's personality, both sides spoke politely and felt that the filming was going smoothly. In fact, both sides dare not speak casually because they know nothing about each other. This situation simply can't let the photographed party let down their guard and show their natural self. By the end, it will be too late for the two sides to get acquainted again, because there is probably no chance of cooperation again. So it's best not to spend time guessing each other's personality. Instead, you should directly say what you are interested in, let the other person know your preferences, let the other person think that you have mastered you, let your guard down and take natural photos as soon as possible.

6. Even friends should tell each other that they can delete photos they don't like at any time.

Whether boys or girls, they usually just want photographers to make themselves look better than selfies, which is very different from photographers' aesthetic standards. The photos that photographers like are not necessarily liked by photographers. In case photographers really don't like them, they often dare not speak out for fear of offending or hurting the photographer's heart. Imagine how you would feel if your photographer took pictures you didn't like. Don't say relax, you can't concentrate on taking pictures at all. Your attention is on the photographer's camera, and you are afraid that the photographer will reveal photos that you think are not beautiful. A lot of times, you are thinking about how to talk to photographers. So before shooting, even friends must tell each other that they can delete photos they don't like at any time, let them delete them once earlier, let them know that you are not talking casually, and ask them more about the shooting angle they like. In this way, the photographed party will trust you, express themselves more openly, and make more new attempts. I don't like to ask if there are any photos in the middle of shooting. I want to ask before I go home. When the other party is relieved, it is easy to have the opportunity to cooperate again. Mutual trust between the photographer and the subject is the key to taking natural photos.

7. Don't take too many things when shooting outside.

If you look for a photographer to take a photo for the first time, the other person is armed to the teeth, and then when you are being photographed, you see a camera tool on or near the photographer. Can you shoot freely in the face of such oppression? To make the subject feel relaxed, the photographer must first feel relaxed by himself. If it is summer, photographers are sweating and operating a bunch of photographic tools, and anyone will feel hard when they see it. How can they take such natural photos? If you are not a professional model, are you confident that you can smile naturally under such circumstances? In addition, I think shooting inexperienced people should not bring a flash, which will make the photographed party nervous. One camera and one mirror are most suitable for shooting inexperienced people.

8. Praise only those who have done well.

People who have no experience in filming only praise each other for what they have done well, not what they have done badly. Praise will be remembered by the other party, and wrong things will be remembered by the other party. If the person being photographed knows that he is not performing well, then when shooting, the other person's mind will only think about how to improve the shortcomings. Under such circumstances, it is difficult for the subject to have a natural expression. On the contrary, if you only remember what you did well, your performance will gradually improve naturally, your advantages will increase, your shortcomings will gradually disappear, and your self-confidence will accumulate.

9. Pay attention to your expression when looking at photos.

The author is depressed all the year round, which brings many misunderstandings to the photographer. Every time I am asked, "What do you think of this photo?" The author will frown (if you think about it seriously, it will be like this. It seems that this photo is so bad that I don't know how to speak. Once my girlfriend looked at the photo and asked the author if she was fat. Then the author seriously thought about this problem and the result was unexpected. She thought she was really fat, and the subsequent shooting was listless. This experience shows that the photographer's expression when reviewing photos can directly affect the evaluation of the party being photographed. You can imagine the result of low evaluation, right?

By changing the shooting distance between yourself and the subject and changing your attitude towards photography, you can easily take a natural portrait. These words are common sense of city life, just another way of saying it.

Matters needing attention when shooting:

1. The reflected light of foggy scene is very strong, so the exposure should be controlled accurately to avoid overexposure.

2. Because the contrast of the fog scene is small, we should find ways to improve the contrast of the picture when shooting, or we can increase the contrast by reducing the exposure.

3. In terms of composition, in order to avoid the picture being too dull, we should try to choose distant, middle and close scenes to show the depth of the scene, as shown in the right picture. You should look for dark scenes in the foreground, in contrast to the fog.

When the fog is too thick, it is generally not suitable for shooting, because its visibility is too low, except for the close shot, the middle shot and the long shot are almost invisible. At this time, you can also add a filter to shoot, such as adding a yellow filter or an orange filter to reduce the fog effect. Because yellow and orange filters can absorb blue and purple short-wave light and enhance the light transmission ability. On the contrary, if you want to enhance the fog effect, you can add a blue filter or fog mirror, so that you can get different fog effects.

The wetlands where birds live are also beautiful.

There are many lakes and wetlands in Wanjiang area of the Yangtze River basin, and a large number of birds come and go in various seasons every year, living and resting in patches or interweaving. Anqing Wetland is one of them, and it is an important transit point in East Asia-Australian bird migration Belt. In spring and autumn alone, more than 5 million snipes inhabit lakes, rivers, beaches and swamps.

Shooting equipment:

As far as equipment is concerned, the longer the focal length of the lens, the better. Using a long-focus telescope lens for long-distance shooting can get a larger subject, but the effects of focusing, aperture, mechanical vibration and air perspective on imaging quality can not be ignored.

Composition:

When shooting the wetland where birds live, we should pay attention to the composition and layout of the picture. Whether birds are the visual center or the foil of the picture, their images should be kept clear. So, there is no doubt that the focus falls on birds. The beautiful instantaneous posture is pleasing to the eye, so we should grasp the wonderful "angle" of the bird's body movement when shooting. For example, the posture and posture of egrets are beautiful; When flying, geese and ducks are arranged in a neat row or herringbone, flying overhead with the cry of "Oh-Oh-",which always gives people infinite reverie.

Number of birds:

The number, size and position of birds in the picture should be determined according to the expression of the theme content. Large scenes are conducive to the expression of the number of groups and give the picture a grand momentum. Large subjects and even local close-up pictures are full of composition, strong visual impact and vivid sense of closeness. Note that if you are faced with a small number of three or two people gathered together, if the subject is too small, it will make people feel inconspicuous, inconspicuous and lack of visual beauty; The main body is too big, which makes people feel awkward and blocked. If it is a large number of scattered groups, we should take corresponding measures and make choices.

Background environment:

When shooting in wetland, the relationship between birds and environmental background is complementary and interdependent. But the background processing has a great influence on the complexity and simplicity of the picture. The beauty of simplicity accords with people's examination psychology,

Birds and wetlands are also beautiful, so if you want to record or express them artistically, you should make the picture as simple and clean as possible, and do everything possible to avoid or eliminate the interference of messy background on the subject when shooting. There are four methods to deal with the background: one is to blur the background with a large aperture; Secondly, using clear water, which is a natural background, there are two exposure methods. One is to expose the water surface to get a bright and beautiful landscape, and the other is to measure the exposure of the water surface to get a dark and low-key silhouette of the subject. Third, the use of the sky, the clean and bright sky can not be used all the time, but the exposure is more difficult to master than the water surface; Fourth, use a single color environment, such as green in spring and yellow plants in autumn as the background. In addition to the background, the foreground partner is the need to set off and decorate the subject, which not only helps to beautify the picture, express the seasonal atmosphere, but also enhances the sense of depth of the space. If you don't choose, you should pay attention to chaos, and if you don't want anything, you will lack it. You can't steal the limelight of the theme performance, nor can you weaken the theme performance. In addition, birds with different feathers have different exposures when they are photographed in different environments and backgrounds. For birds with white and bright feathers in front of dark background, the exposure should be reduced; For birds with different feathers before bright background, the exposure should be increased.

Six points to note when taking pictures:

1. Fill the model with pictures.

Portrait photography is about people, so don't be afraid to zoom in! Remember, zooming in doesn't mean just shooting your face. You can make the picture "compact" and take a recent photo of the model sitting in a chair or leaning against a tree.

2. Keep your eyes on the top third.

This is the most natural spatial arrangement of portrait photos. Unless you deliberately create tension, try not to violate this principle. Another exception is when the model is in the lower third of the photo.

3. Use composition to attract attention to the model

Instead of trying to eliminate the bad environment, we should make good use of it. The arch, window and terrace in front of the door can play a role in highlighting the main body and strengthening the visual experience.

Create texture

Again, if you can't eliminate the distracting background, you should make good use of it. Keep the subject away from the background, use aperture priority mode (f/4), blur the background with shallow depth of field, and create artistic texture. In this way, you don't need to remove those interesting things from the picture, but you can also highlight the model from the background.

Use lines

Brick walls are the perfect background for portrait photography. The lines on the wall add a lot of interest, but they also distract attention from the main body. Remember that any "line" that extends out of the picture and points to the subject is very powerful.

Change the shooting angle

Sometimes in order to eliminate interference, all you need to do is simply change the angle of the camera. In order to get perfect angle, try to change the angle of the camera and the model. You can completely shield those distracting branches or telephone poles by constantly moving a little bit to the left or right, high or low.

When you start to pay attention to the background details, your portrait photography sales will be guaranteed. Make your model stand out and add interesting things to the composition.
