Detailed Explanation of Three Character Classic XXI - Nine Clans

The first is to talk about why we put "Humanity" here; the second is to talk about the three ultimate questions that human beings explore: where they come from; where they end up; and how to live between coming and going in a way that makes it more comfortable for them to go, or to go to a more comfortable place. The advantage of this is to constantly educate people that they should know where they came from, how hard it was for their ancestors to start their own business, and that they should maintain the tradition and not to mess around with it, which is to tell everyone not to forget their roots. More importantly, it is telling everyone to use the pioneering and enterprising spirit of their ancestors to perpetuate and prosper their family, and to perpetuate and carry forward the glory of their family forever. In this way, a family stabilized and prosperous, this society, country and nation will naturally be prosperous and endless.
Secondly, where does a man go? Similarly, we have transformed him into, "I" where to go. This depends on the future generations of children and grandchildren, because the children and grandchildren are the continuation of their own lives. In the end, the Chinese summarize that a person has to establish virtue, merit, and speech so that he can exist in this world forever. In traditional Chinese culture, death and dying have two meanings. "Death" means that a person's physical body no longer exists, and "death" means that all traces of a person's existence have disappeared. The Chinese have long known that human life is composed of two parts, one is material and the other is spiritual. The material life, the physical body, is bound to disappear. But the spiritual life, our thoughts, character, culture, and scholarship, as long as it reaches a certain level, will never disappear, and will always be displayed to future generations as proof that a person once existed. So where do people go? In traditional Chinese culture, a person can live forever by "establishing virtue, merit, and speech", being born as a human being, dying as a god, and not being forgotten by future generations, and being remembered forever. This speaks of our spiritual life. This brings us to the next question.
How to do between one and the other is the best choice. In fact, this question has already been answered in traditional Chinese culture in the answer to the second question. It is to do things that can realize the goal of "establishing virtue, establishing merit, and establishing speech". That is why traditional Chinese culture pays special attention to the family, the country and the world, and to dedication, because only by dedicating oneself to the service of society and the nation can a person be praised by the nation forever, and by living in the memory of the nation, one can realize the goal of eternal life by living forever in the great family of the nation. But this standard is very high, and not many people can actually achieve it, so what to do? It is to build up one's own family and educate one's own children and grandchildren, so that this spirit can be incorporated into the bodies of the children and grandchildren, or at least so that one's descendants can remember that there was once such a person in the world. This is the first time that I've ever seen a person who was a member of a family in the United States, and I've never seen a person who was a member of a family in the United States.
From the practical example of the actual family building, the Wuxi Qian's education through the "Qian's family training" is the most fruitful. The most prestigious representative of the Qian family is China's modern scientific and technological field of "three money", respectively, the father of aerospace - Qian Xuesen; the father of China's mechanics - Qian Weichang; the father of the atomic bomb - Qian Sanchang. They are Qian Xuesen, the father of aerospace; Qian Weichang, the father of Chinese mechanics; and Qian Sanqiang, the father of Chinese atomic bomb. They are all from the Qian family in Hongshan, Wuxi (originally from Zheshui), and their ancestor was Qian Qian Qian, the king of Wuyue in the late Tang Dynasty. In modern China, the outstanding sons of the Qian family are found in the fields of science, culture and politics, and Qian Qichen, Qian Zhengying, Qian Xuesen, Qian Weichang, Qian Xuantong, Qian Sanqiang, Qian Jiabo, Qian Zhongshu, Qian Fuxu, Qian Mu and Qian Xun ...... including Chinese scientist Qian Yongjian, winner of the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 2008, are all descended from Qian Qian. The root of this family's millennia-long history and the explosion of talent in modern times is the kind of education brought about by the Qian Family Tradition, which centers on the idea that "even though children and grandchildren may be foolish, they need to read poetry and books".
