According to different local customs, the colors of coffins are red and black. Is there anything particular about the choice of these two colors?

There are five main colors of ancient coffins, namely black, log color (yellow), white, red and gold. Black coffins are mainly used to bury people who died in battle, died prematurely or committed suicide; Wood-colored (yellow) coffins are mainly used to bury ordinary people; White coffins are mainly used to bury young men and unmarried women; Red coffins are mainly used to bury people in their 80s. Golden coffins are mainly used to bury the elderly, emperors, generals and rich children over 80 years old.

Black coffins are usually used for patients, the dead, gunmen, suicides and other abnormal deaths. The red coffin can only be enjoyed by people over 80 years old. White coffins are generally used for young unmarried women, and gold coffins are generally used for emperors and generals. There is a strange custom in Qu Yuan's hometown. A hundred years later, the old man will sleep in a red coffin, which is said to be the light of Dr. Qu Yuan. According to legend, Qu Yuan threw himself into the river on May 5, and the body of the magic fish returned to his hometown, and the villagers were buried in coffins.

Yellow coffins, namely wooden coffins, are also the most widely used coffins. After the death of some poor people, it is difficult to buy coffins because there is no money at home, let alone paint coffins with black paint. Another way of saying it is that if someone dies and there are old people at home, you must use a yellow coffin to pray for a long life for the living old people.

Most white coffins abroad are used for funerals, but they are rarely used in China. In the traditional culture of China, whites are only suitable for women who died before marriage, but also for men in their early years. If your child will die in the sky, you won't need a coffin. The white coffin is basically useless today.

Most of them are made of wood, and five-color coffins have become a culture. In addition, due to different cultural regions, there may be many coffins with unknown colors, and many people may not see coffins with other colors in their lives.
