Nanjing University of Technology Affiliated Junior High School (Eight Middle School Campus) was founded on September 20, 1949, formerly known as Nanjing Eighth Middle School. 1999, the school was named the key middle school in Nanjing. 2001, the school accepted the financial support of the Hong Kong industrialist Mr. Tian Jiabing, renamed Nanjing Tian Jiabing Middle School. 2005, in order to continue to build a brand-name high school, to do a good job of junior high school, and to enhance the overall Gulou North Area Secondary school running level, according to the provincial education department of high and middle school separation of the objectives of the requirements of the district decided to implement the integration of the northern part of the program.
