What are the folk tales
1. "Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai" is one of the four great love stories of Chinese folklore, and is the most fascinating oral heritage art and national intangible cultural heritage in China, as well as the only Chinese folklore that has had a wide impact in the world. Since the Western Jin Dynasty, the story has been passed down in folklore for more than 1,700 years, and it can be said that it is a household name in China, with a far-reaching circulation, and it is regarded as a perfect song of love for the ages. From ancient to modern times, countless people have been infected by the tragic love between Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai.
2. "Kuafu Chasing the Sun" is a mythological and legendary story from the ancient times of China. According to legend, in the era of the Yellow Emperor's dynasty, one of the chiefs of the Kuafu tribe wanted to remove the sun and put it into the hearts of the people, and so he started to chase the sun. When he was thirsty, he drank the Yellow River and the Wei River dry, and prepared to go to the Great Lake in the north to drink water, and he died of thirst on his way to the Great Zephyr. His walking stick was transformed into a peach grove that became a peach garden; and his body was transformed into Mount Quatre.
3. The Tale of the White Snake describes the twisted love story between a snake spirit who cultivates into human form and a human being. The story includes such episodes as borrowing umbrellas from a canopy boat, the White Snake stealing the ganoderma lucidum, the water-filled San Francisco, the Broken Bridge, the Leifeng Pagoda, and the sacrifice of the pagoda by Shilin, the son of Xu Xian. It expresses the people's yearning for the freedom of love between men and women and their hatred for the unreasonable restrictions imposed by the feudal forces.
