The basic play of tennis
2. Keep your eyes on the ball. When the opponent takes a picture, you should start staring at it and judge the trajectory of the action, then start to move your body and keep staring at the ball across the net to your own half, adjust the hitting posture and start hitting the ball. Keep your eyes on the ball. If the ball is hit by the racket, your eyes will shift to the other half with the ball.
3. At the moment before hitting the ball, you should not face the net head-on, but lean sideways, with one side of your shoulder facing the net and the front of your body parallel to the flight path of the ball, so that you can hit the ball quickly and accurately.
4. When the ball flies to your side, while leaning sideways, swing your arm backwards as quickly as possible to form a hitting arc, so that the racket can contact the ball easily and harmoniously, and obliquely push the ball across the net from bottom to top. If you want to make the ball fly faster, you must use force when the racket touches the ball to speed it up.
5. Keep your legs moving and find the best hitting position by the movement of your legs, but you should "brake" in time at the moment of hitting the ball and gain a firm foothold, so as to hit the ball accurately and powerfully.
6. Keep your body as low as possible and your center of gravity is low to move quickly, which is especially important for playing. To keep a low posture, just spread your legs slightly, bend your knees and keep your upper body as vertical as possible. Keep your chest slightly forward but don't bend over. Look straight ahead.
7. You should stand near the midpoint of the baseline and wait for the opponent to hit the ball, adjust the hitting position according to the incoming route, try to hit the ball to the lower half of the opponent, and then restore the original position. When the opponent comes to the ball shallowly, he can follow the ball forward to the net or retreat to the bottom line. He can't stand between the baseline and the serve line and wait for the ball.
8. It is best to hit the ball obliquely in front of the body, with the height parallel to the ilium, and the moment when the racket hits the ball is perpendicular to the direction in which the ball comes.
For beginners, these eight rules are enough. You should take these rules seriously, and you may become a "top master". You should train strictly according to these eight rules. When you have learned to play tennis, these things become your subconscious conscious behavior. You will find your own unique style of play in the future progress, but you should understand that it has always been with your tennis career.
