Animation and China Traditional Culture

I think animation is an expression of people's thoughts and feelings, and it is also a medium, just like novels. So animation can be used to express traditional culture.

1. Traditional. China's cartoons are not adapted from cartoons or novels, but are mostly produced directly by animation companies, and the framework of the story is conceived and planned by many people together. As a result, the subject became very stiff after the discussion. Of course, the strict control of animation content by relevant state agencies also played a great role, and finally only traditional things were left. After all, these things have been tried and critically inherited by predecessors.

2. Externalization. Foreign animation industry is more mature and developed than Japan and the United States. Due to historical reasons (Japan's war of aggression against China), there are many voices against China's imitation of Japan. However, the United States and China are far apart, and the cultural and ideological differences are too great for some people in China to accept. In fact, in my opinion, the most important thing is that the feudal remnants in the subconscious are hindering externalization. China is a nation with "religion" as the main factor, unlike Yamato, which is a nation with learning as the main factor, and it is easy to accept foreign cultures and ideas.

3. What is the relationship between them? Animation has a long history. It can be said that there are pearls and jadeites in all aspects, and it is quite difficult to create brilliance in another way. The easiest way to succeed is to imitate successful examples, that is, externalization; Traditional things are unique to every country and nation. Our tradition has been passed down for thousands of years, which is excellent and classic. However, if we develop here, we have to continue the backward animation production, and externalization is like a leap-forward development, which can usher in the glory of the animation industry more quickly (for example, Korean animation draws lessons from Japanese oriental paintings and has achieved remarkable results)

Therefore, traditional culture can be represented by animation, and the development mode of animation can be externalization or tradition (personally, externalization is better).
