Extended data
For China people, the "golden mean" has accumulated for thousands of years, even internalized into their own personality. Different from China's dialectical thinking, the thinking of westerners is a kind of logical thinking. This kind of thinking emphasizes the identity, non-contradiction and exclusion of the world. Identity holds that the essence of things will not change, and a thing will always be itself.
A proposition can't be right or wrong at the same time. Exclusive neutrality emphasizes that one thing is either right or wrong and there is no neutrality. The western way of thinking is also called analytical thinking. They don't pursue compromise and harmony like China people, but like to separate things from a whole and make a logical analysis of their essential characteristics.
