Hanfu (full name: traditional costumes of the Han nationality) is also called Hanfu official, Hanzhuang and Huafu. The extension of the word "Han" in Hanfu has also expanded from the Han Dynasty to the whole national reference.
It refers to the costumes with unique Chinese fullness formed by natural evolution from the accession of the Yellow Emperor to the middle of the 7th century (late Ming and early Qing Dynasty), with "Huaxia-Han" culture as the background and Chinese etiquette culture as the core.
Hanfu is obviously different from the traditional clothing system of other nationalities. It is the embodiment of China's "dress country", "etiquette country" and "splendid china", bearing the excellent craftsmanship and aesthetics of the Han nationality, inheriting more than 30 intangible cultural heritages of China and protecting the arts and crafts of China.
Traditional national costumes of Han nationality in China, also known as Chinese clothes and Chinese clothes, mainly refer to the decoration system of traditional costumes with unique Chinese cultural characteristics, which is based on the nearly 4,000-year national culture of Huaxia (also known as Han nationality after Han Dynasty) from about 2 1 century BC to the middle of17th century AD.
In other words, China Traditional Costume (Hanfu) is an overall collection of a series of China (Han) national costumes with strong China (Han) national style from Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties to Ming Dynasty.
The main characteristics of Hanfu are horizontal collar and right lap. Instead of buttons, they are tied with ropes, giving people an impression of freedom and elegance. These characteristics are obviously different from the costumes of other nationalities.
Hanfu can be divided into formal clothes and regular clothes. From the shape point of view, there are mainly three kinds: "top and bottom clothes" (ancient top refers to bottom skirt), "deep clothes" (top and bottom clothes are sewn together) and "skirt" (short clothes).
