Brief introduction of power quality analysis and control

This book is a national planning textbook for general higher education in the 11th Five-Year Plan period.

The main contents of this book include: introduction to power quality, mathematical methods in power quality analysis and control, traditional power quality analysis and improvement measures, concepts, evaluation methods and measurements of voltage fluctuation and flicker, voltage sag and short-term interruption analysis, waveform distortion and power harmonic analysis, principles and applications of modern power quality control technology, and power quality evaluation indicators and methods. Thinking questions and exercises are attached to each chapter. Appendix A of this book summarizes some commonly used Chinese and English technical terms collected by the author and their explanations. Appendix B briefly introduces the basic knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility closely related to power quality. Appendix C summarizes the power quality indicators in some standards or guidelines.

This book can be used as a teaching material for electrical engineering and automation related majors in colleges and universities, and can also be used as a reference for graduate students and power engineering technicians.
