What kind of dust removal equipment should be used for dust control in ports and docks?

(1) dry dust removal. Traditionally, bag filter is used for dry dust removal, and bag filter is widely used in coal terminals at home and abroad. Its working principle is: using the negative pressure generated by the fan, dust-laden air is sucked into the settling chamber through a reasonably arranged dust suction port, and coal dust is filtered out through a bag dust collector. Its characteristics are good effect and relatively low cost in general. But when the environment is wet, the bag becomes hard, which affects the dust removal effect. The effect of dry dust removal mainly depends on the dust collection effect and the treatment effect of dusty air. Because dust is scattered during coal unloading, it is very important to set up a reasonable dust suction port and collect coal dust to the maximum extent. At present, the dust suction port is generally located above the unloading point of the vibrating feeder feeding the belt conveyor, and there is also a dust suction port on the upper part of the coal unloading funnel, and a deflector is provided to prevent the irregular overflow of pulverized coal.

(2) Water dust removal (wet dust removal). After the reclaimed water or tap water is pressurized, it is atomized by a reasonably arranged nozzle (or spray gun) to form a continuous mist curtain to cover the dust, so as to achieve the purpose of dust suppression.

This method is characterized by low cost, suitable for various dusty places and obvious dust removal effect. By heating and insulating the pipeline, it can be used for dust removal in winter and four seasons.

(3) windbreak net (windbreak wall). Based on the principle of rapidly reducing wind speed, the wind speed of coal storage yard is reduced below the dust wind speed to prevent coal dust from flying and control dust diffusion.

In addition to the above-mentioned dust removal methods, dust suppressants can also be sprayed on coal piles to harden their surfaces and reduce dust. In winter, snow machine is used to spread snow on the surface of medium pile to prevent coal dust from flying in winter. However, due to the influence of cost and season, these two methods can not be widely used for short-term coal storage.
