How to write an essay on making dumplings

This year, at zero o'clock on New Year's Eve, the 30th day of the Lunar New Year, I saw my grandmother preparing the materials for making soup dumplings for the whole family. I was puzzled and asked, "Why do we need to eat soup dumplings on New Year's Eve?" Grandma said, "Seeing that the dumplings are round, it means that if the family eats the dumplings, all of them will be united and peaceful in the year." I asked Grandma again, "Can you teach me how to make soup dumplings?" Grandma readily agreed.

I washed my hands first. At this time, I saw that my grandmother had already mixed the soup dumpling powder and water, and rolled the soup dumpling powder into a long strip like a rolling pin, and divided the strip into small sections. Grandma told me to roll the dumpling powder into a round shape, then pinch the dumpling powder into a small hole, and finally put a small ball of sesame filling into the hole and close the mouth, so that the dumplings could be rolled into a round shape and then they were ready. I started to follow the process that my grandmother taught me to make dumplings step by step, and finally my grandmother and I rolled 16 dumplings together. One by one, we put the dumplings into a pot of boiling water and cooked them. We put the boiled dumplings into a bowl, and the white, round and fragrant dumplings were ready. I ate these dumplings and found them fragrant and sweet.

The next morning, I woke up early on the first day of the Lunar New Year and made soup dumplings for my mom and dad. As they ate the dumplings, they said: "This dumpling is so delicious".

This year I learned to make dumplings for the Spring Festival, and the dumplings I made through my own hard work were really delicious.
