(C) Wetland Park Water Supply Program Justification

1. General idea of water supply

For the water supply of the Yellow River Wetland Park, the general idea is as follows:

1) For one-time landscape replenishment, only the surface reservoirs can be realized to fill up the reservoirs in a short period of time (less than 3d), and the groundwater source and water source of medium water are limited in water supply in a short period of time and only suitable to be used for daily water replenishment.

2) daily landscape water replenishment mainly to supplement the park water body evaporation, seepage loss, in order to reduce the loss of water along the way, groundwater and water-based.

3) Other water consumption such as living, greening and unforeseen in the wetland park is solved from the self-supplied wells.

4) landscape water body replacement including one-time replacement, small flow replacement and emergency replacement, which one-time replacement refers to the water after each flood flushing reservoir and when the water level of the water body down to 1.80m when the filling of the reservoir, small flow replacement refers to the water body in order to maintain a good quality of the water quality of the environment of the small flow of the filling of the reservoir, emergency replacement refers to the occurrence of a water quality emergencies or seawater back to the body of water caused by the water quality pollution Need to consider a one-time reservoir filling volume of 1,139,200 m3, is a random situation, this water supply program is not considered, only one-time replacement of water and small flow replacement of water.

2.50% precipitation frequency year water supply program

50% precipitation frequency year, Wangwu Reservoir water is larger, can meet the wetland park water demand as well as replacement of water, so the wetland park water supply to take the "surface water as the main, groundwater as a supplement" program, Wangwu Reservoir, Yellow River water underground reservoir and the park's own well water supply, respectively. Wangwu Reservoir, Yellow River Groundwater Reservoir and the park's own wells supply water of 1,880,100 m3, 898,600 m3 and 189,300 m3, respectively, as shown in Table 9-1.

3. Water supply program for the year of 75% frequency of precipitation

In the year of 75% frequency of precipitation, the water supply available for the wetland from the Wangwu Reservoir is 0 but the water supply available from the groundwater reservoir can still be used for the wetland park. The water supply of underground reservoir can still meet the water demand of the wetland, at this time, it is necessary to implement the joint water supply of multiple water sources. The specific approach is to expand the scale of underground reservoir to supply water to the city, so as to replace the necessary wetland park recharge volume, while the daily replenishment of the wetland park adopts the groundwater source, under this condition, the water supply volume of Wangwu Reservoir, Yellow River Water Groundwater Reservoir and the park's own wells are 1,880,100,000 m3, 1,024,800,000 m3, and 189,300,000 m3, respectively, as shown in Table 9-2 for details.In the process, the water supply volume of The Yellow River Water Underground Reservoir and Wangwu Reservoir exchanged 188.01 million m3 of water, i.e., the Yellow River Water Underground Reservoir expanded the water supply of 188.01 million m3 to the urban life and production, and the displaced surface water of Wangwu Reservoir was used to fill the reservoir of the Wetland Park.

4. Water supply scheme in 90% precipitation frequency year

Similar to the 75% precipitation frequency year, the 90% precipitation frequency year requires the underground reservoir to expand the scale of water supply to the city, reserving the wetland recharge volume, and the daily replenishment volume is supplied by the underground water source. Under this condition, the water supply quantity of Wangwu Reservoir, Huangshui River Groundwater Reservoir and the park's own wells are 188.01 million m2, 1,073.1 million m2 and 189.3 million m2, respectively. see Table 9-3 for details. in this process, the Huangshui River Groundwater Reservoir and Wangwu Reservoir carry out a water replacement of 1,880.1 million m2, i.e., the Huangshui River Groundwater Reservoir expands the water supply to the city's domestic and industrial production of 1,880.1 million m2. The displaced surface water from Wangwu Reservoir is used to recharge the wetland park.

5. Water Supply Programs for Consecutive Dry Years

In the year of consecutive dry years, all kinds of sources of water are very scarce, and it is considered to use some of the wastewater discharged from Huangcheng Wastewater Treatment Plant and then treated in depth as a source of water for daily replenishment in the first stage. One-time filling of the reservoir water is still using the water source replacement method provided by the Wangwu Reservoir, water quality purification during the daily replenishment required by the groundwater reservoir. Under this condition, the water supply from Wangwu Reservoir, Huangshui River Groundwater Reservoir, y treated water and the park's own wells are 1,880,100 m2 , 817,300 m2 , 235,800 m2 , and 189,300 m2 , respectively, as shown in Table 9-4. In this process, the Huangshui River groundwater reservoir and Wangwu Reservoir carried out 188.01m2 of water replacement, that is, the Huangshui River groundwater reservoir to expand the water supply to the city life and industrial production of 188.01m2, and replacement of the Wangwu Reservoir surface water for the Wetland Park to fill the reservoir, the details of the water supply program is shown in Table 9-4.

Through the above demonstration and analysis, the following conclusions can be drawn:

1) The Yellow River Water Wetland Park is located at the mouth of the Yellow River Water, with a total area of 1.73km2 and a water surface area of 0.89km2, including the sea water surface area downstream of the Yellow River Camp Barrage of 0.12km2, the fresh water surface area of the upstream of the Barrage of 0.46km2, and the water surface area of the pits and ponds on the two sides of the Yellow River Water of 0.31km2. 0.31km2 The park is mainly characterized by the natural landscape of wetland composed of river water and intertidal zone, integrating regional culture, and has the functions of ecological protection, science education and ecological recreation, etc. In order to ensure the realization of the park's functions, it is necessary to establish an ecological park in the park. 3) After the one-time filling of the reservoir, the water body will gradually deteriorate with the prolongation of the water body stagnation time. 4) Due to the water quality purification time and water replenishment, water replenishment source has a close relationship, when using different water replenishment program will consume a total amount of water body replacement and purification of water. This demonstration, from the point of view of saving water resources, proposed to surface water filling reservoir, groundwater as the main daily recharge water source program. After calculation, in 50%, 75% and 90% of the incoming water frequency year for purification of water quality water requirements were 1,524,900 m3, 1,546,000 m3 (of which with the daily evaporation infiltration replenishment duplication of 678,900 m3, 976,000 m3 and 1,022,000 m3, respectively, the new water consumption of 708,000 m3, 570,000 m3 and 524,000 m3, respectively).

5) As the wetland park is located at the mouth of the Yellow River water, affected by the high tide level of the Bohai Sea and scenic tides, if the phenomenon of salty water on the tide will lead to the salinization of the park's water body, it is necessary to carry out a one-time replacement, and each time the amount of water demanded is 1,139,200 m3.

6) After the Wangwangya Reservoir, the underground reservoir of the Huangshui River and the Huangcheng Wastewater Treatment Plant and other three kinds of water sources are demonstrated and analyzed, and the water in the 50 percent, 75%, 90% precipitation frequency can reach 14,914,400m3, 10,317,700m3 and 10,714,700m3 of water supply to the wetland park respectively (including 5,110,000m3 of medium water in each frequency year), and the total amount can meet the demand of Yellow River water. However, due to the requirement of filling time, the primary filling required by the Wetland Park can only be provided by Wangwu Reservoir, while the daily available water supply from groundwater sources and water from the Zhongshui is limited and can only be used as a daily supplemental water source.

After analyzing, the water supply scheme is as follows:

1) In the year of 50% precipitation frequency, the water supply of the wetland park is accomplished by the combined water supply of surface water, groundwater, and self-provided wells, with water supply quantities of 1,880,100 m2, 898,600 m2, and 189,300 m2, respectively;

2) In the year of 75% precipitation frequency, the water supply of the wetland park is still based on surface water, Groundwater, self-provided wells joint water supply is completed, but must be completed through the groundwater and surface water implementation of water source replacement, that is, the city water more exploitation of groundwater and reserved Wangwu Reservoir for the Wetland Park to fill the reservoir, water supply of 188,010,000m2, 1,024,800m2 and 189,300m2, respectively:

3) in the year of 90% precipitation frequency years, similar to the year of 75% rainfall frequency years program, the water supply is accomplished through the combination of water sources and the replacement of groundwater and surface water. The amount of water supplied by Wangwu Reservoir, underground water reservoir and self-provided wells is 1,880,100m2, 1,073,100m2 and 189,300m2 respectively;

4) In the year of experiencing dry water, in order to save water resources, the daily replenishment of the wetland park water supply in the early stage of water supply adopts the deep-treated water from the middle water, at the same time, it continues the implementation of joint water supply of the water sources and the replacement of groundwater and surface water, and the amount of water supplied by the surface water, underground water The water supply of surface water, groundwater and self-provided wells were 1,880,100 m2, 817,300 m2, 235,800 m2 and 189,300 m2, respectively.

5) To joint scheduling of multiple sources of water, especially 75%, 90% of the dry years, the city mined groundwater to meet the requirements of domestic water use, replacing surface water as a supplemental park water supply source.

In order to further improve the work of water supply, the following recommendations:

1) further improve the Huangshui River Basin multi-water joint water supply and optimize the level of allocation, according to the individual user in the intensity of water use and water quality and other aspects of the requirements of the spatial and temporal allocation of water resources, improve the efficiency of water resources and water supply guarantee rate.

2) In order to improve the water supply and water supply guarantee rate of water resources in the Huangshui River Basin, it is suggested that the water discharged from the Yellow River Wastewater Treatment Plant should be recycled and utilized, and the replaced surface water resources can be used as water to fill the reservoirs of the Wetland Park in the years of consecutive dryness.

3) In order to further improve and maintain the coastal ecological environment after the completion of the coastal resort, it is recommended that Longkou Yulong Paper Co., Ltd. be relocated, and part of the groundwater extraction of the plant can be used as a supplementary source of water supply for the park in dry years.

4) In order to further safeguard the water requirement of the wetland water and reduce the loss of water seepage, it is recommended that the bottom of the wetland should be treated with anti-seepage.

5) Strengthen the protection of water quality in the wetland park, and unify the management of sewage discharge along the Huangshui River, so that rain and sewage can be separated. It is recommended to build a sewage treatment plant in the downstream of Huangshui River to collect sewage along and around the river and reuse the sewage after unified treatment, which on the one hand can avoid the phenomenon of water pollution, and on the other hand can realize the water supply to the Wetland Park after in-depth treatment to further improve the degree of protection of the water in the Wetland Park.

6) The detailed planning program of the Wetland Park is further improved to make it more conducive to the purification of the water quality of the Wetland Park and the compression of the water replenishment demand.

a. Further create conditions for the flow and circulation of water in the reservoir to utilize the water quality to purify itself. Such as the location and layout of the pit and river connection should follow the "upstream into the downstream outflow, its own cycle" principle, it is recommended that the river on both sides of the pit opening position appropriate upstream.

b. The introduction and arrangement of aquatic plants should be further strengthened to improve the water purification ability of the wetland.

c. It is suggested that some oxygenation and aeration devices should be set up within the water body of the park to facilitate the self-purification of the water body.

7) For the replacement of water demand caused by salty water upstream and water quality pollution and other sudden events need to use relevant measures to increase the amount of water supply, these measures include:

a. Elevate the tide embankment and Huangheying flap gate tide level, reduce the number of times of salty water upstream.

b. In dry water years, appropriately expand the scale of water supply from the Huangshui River underground reservoir to industrial water, and reserve surface water from the Wangwu Reservoir for a one-time filling of the reservoir in the wetland park.

c. Strengthen water conservation efforts throughout the basin to provide safe water for the wetland park.
