The difference between on-screen fingerprint and off-screen fingerprint
Screen fingerprint refers to the technology of integrating fingerprint recognition sensor on the screen of mobile phone. Users only need to gently touch the designated position on the screen with their fingers to complete fingerprint identification. Off-screen fingerprinting refers to embedding the fingerprint recognition sensor in a specific area below the screen of the mobile phone. The user needs to put his finger on the designated position on the screen, and the sensor obtains fingerprint information through optical or ultrasonic technology at the bottom of the screen. In contrast, the off-screen fingerprint technology is more hidden, does not occupy the actual display area of the screen, and also provides higher security and convenience.
