I. Introduction of the Ancient Town

Luomu Ancient Town is located in the southeast of Emei Mountain, at the foot of the World Double Heritage - Emei Mountain. The ancient town, also known as Qinglong field, was an important market town on the ancient Southern Silk Road. With thousands of years of history and culture, it is full of fireworks. It is the only town in Southwest Sichuan that retains the old architectural style of Emei Mountain.

Entering the ancient town, the ancient style still exists and the streetscape is basically intact. Old wooden houses with mortise and tenon joints and beams, carved with dragons and phoenixes can be seen everywhere.

In order to enhance the tourism culture of the old town, MassemMansion has been fully restored and reopened to the public, and it has gradually become a landmark attraction of the old town. It was built in 1917 and financed by a female British missionary doctor.
