Why did Mr. Nanguo run away Write two reasons
1. fled because he was weak-minded; he did not know how to play yu at all.
2. He was afraid of being punished. Because King Min of Qi issued an order that each take turns to come and play yu for his enjoyment, and Nanguo simply did not know how to do it.
In ancient times, King Xuan of Qi, the ruler of the state of Qi, loved music and especially liked to listen to yu-playing, and had under his command less than 300 musicians who were good at yu-playing. King Xuan of Qi liked to make a big show, and always wanted to show his majesty as a king in front of people, so every time he listened to yu, he always asked these less than 300 people to play together for him. When a man named Nanguo heard that King Xuan of Qi liked to listen to the ensemble, he thought it was a good opportunity to make money, so he went to King Xuan of Qi and bragged about himself, saying: "Your Majesty, no one who has heard me play yu is not touched by it, even the birds and beasts will dance when they hear it, and flowers and grasses will sway to the rhythm when they hear it, so I would like to dedicate my skill to the king. " King Xuan of Qi was so happy to hear this that he accepted him with alacrity, and organized him into the 300-strong yu-playing team. After that, Mr. Nanguo played to King Xuan of Qi together with the 300 people, enjoying the same favorable treatment as everyone else, and was extremely pleased with himself. In fact, Nanguo did not know how to play yu at all. Whenever he played, Nanguo just held his yu and mixed in with the group, shaking his body, bobbing his head, pretending to be in love and forgetting his own feelings, and looking more devoted to playing than the others. Thus Nanguo lived from day to day by deception, receiving a good salary for nothing. After a few years, King Xuan of Qi, who loved to listen to the music, died, and his son, King Min of Qi, succeeded to the throne. King Min of Qi also loved to listen to yu, but he preferred to listen to solo music. So King Min of Qi issued an order for 300 people to take turns to play yu for him. Mr. Nanguo was as anxious as an ant on a hot pan, and was on tenterhooks. He thought about it and felt that he could not get away with it any more, so he had to pack up his luggage and run away in the night.
