The difference between Wushu and Wushu

Wushu is a word created in the Republic of China, which means "China Wushu". Wushu contains Wushu in a certain sense.

What is martial arts?

Wushu, as a fairly clear concept similar to traditional Chinese painting and traditional Chinese medicine, came into being in modern times. It is a national sports system with unarmed combat and equipment competition as its core, including many independent events left by traditional martial arts in the folk.

Generally speaking, Wushu is an attempt to integrate and systematize China's traditional body movements. Wushu includes boxing and mechanical routines, unarmed and long-short equipment fighting, national wrestling which has been complementary to Wushu since ancient times, and archery, slingshot, shuttlecock and force measurement which are closely related to traditional Wushu.

Although the word Wushu is widely used in China, other descriptions of China Wushu, such as Wushu and Kung Fu, are also famous overseas.

Especially today, when the Party and the country advocate taking Scientific Outlook on Development as the guide, carrying forward the people-oriented social development attitude, and devoting themselves to the harmonious development and coexistence of China society and even the whole world, the traditional culture of China, represented by Sinology, is once again sought after in today's high-speed economic development.

This shows that China people are pursuing and returning to the cultural standard, and Wushu, as an internal part of Chinese studies, has once again become the core vocabulary representing China's traditional Wushu culture, which is undoubtedly the necessity of historical development and the basic demand of the development of the times for China culture to go global.
