Nowadays, the grand occasion of Putian Lantern Festival has passed the Spring Festival. For a month, different villages and surnames have different forms of Lantern Festival every day, and the activities are colorful.

The activities of the Lantern Festival are mainly large-scale mass cultural and recreational activities, supplemented by the activities of the Li community. Wandering is an important part of Putian Lantern Festival, but it has different styles. On the eighth day of the first month, the old gentleman Yang Taishang of Linshan Palace in Fengting Town made his debut with soap dance, followed by sedan chairs and various colorful driving teams.
