Difference between air suspension and ordinary suspension
1. Ordinary suspension is mainly composed of springs and shock absorbers, which are used to connect the car body and wheels, providing comfortable riding experience and stable handling, while air suspension replaces traditional metal springs with air springs, and adds electronic control system and air pump, so that it can automatically adjust the parameters of suspension system according to actual conditions.
2. The performance of ordinary suspension is relatively fixed and cannot be adjusted according to the actual road conditions and driving requirements. The air suspension can automatically adjust the height and damping of the suspension system through the electronic control unit (ECU) according to the feedback information of the sensor, so as to achieve better handling and comfort. In addition, air suspension can provide different suspension stiffness according to different driving modes, thus meeting different driving requirements.
