Legal basis: Article 6 of the Regulations on the Administration of Public Security Video Image Information System (Draft for Comment) issued by the Ministry of Public Security stipulates that no unit or individual may illegally obtain state secrets, work secrets, business secrets or infringe upon citizens' personal privacy and other legitimate rights and interests by using the public security video image information system.
The construction and use units of the public security video image information system have the obligation to keep confidential the basic information such as system design scheme, equipment type, installation location, address coding, and the obtained video image information involving state secrets, work secrets and business secrets, and shall not illegally disclose the obtained video image information involving citizens' personal privacy.
