4. Then, started working very intensively on the background, adding details to the mountains and the sky, enhancing the light by adding shadows in soft light mode and adding (painted) textures in normal mode. I also added atmospheric atmosphere to the sky (painted in normal mode using the active transfer option) to give more depth and movement to the scene.

5. The light and contrast were then further emphasized with the Curves mask to add to the mood of the characterization scene. The next step was to refine the entire environment, so I continued to use the brush in Normal mode to draw all the details in the foreground.

6. Finally, a defined black shape (such as an outline) is obtained by tracing rough lines. At this point, I start to draw the volume using Normal, Color and Active Transfer to have more control over the brush. I then started blocking the character with Lighten layer mode, adding shadows to match the color of the character and the mood of the environment. Finally, I add some light points to the exterior of the armor to create more contrast with the character.
