What does network convergence mean?

Network convergence is the intermediate meaning of network access layer and core layer. According to relevant public information, the network has three layers of architecture, namely, core layer, convergence layer layer and access layer. Network convergence is equivalent to the middle management of the company, which is used to connect the core layer and the access layer and is in the middle position. It is the intermediary between the network access layer and the core layer to converge before the workstation accesses the core layer to reduce the load of the core layer equipment. Network convergence is to physically connect multiple ports on a switch and logically bind them together to form a large bandwidth port and a trunk road, which can balance the load and provide redundant links.
