What does the front of the door mean?
In the front of men's trousers or jeans in daily life, a fork is opened from the waist to the front crotch, and then a zipper or button is installed, which is also called a placket. Men's trousers are designed with a placket to facilitate men to urinate, while traditional jeans have a placket, so both men's and women's jeans have a placket.
Door placket structure:
1. Openings can be divided into involution, symmetry and asymmetry according to butt joint. Double lapel is a kind of lapel without overlapping doors. Symmetric and asymmetric plackets have overlapping plackets, which are divided into left and right plackets. One side of the buttonhole is called a large placket (front placket), and the other side of the buttonhole is called an inner placket.
2. The placket can be divided into single folding door and double folding door. A single row of buttons is called a single folding door, and the size of the folding door is usually between 1.7 ~ 2.5 cm. Single-stack doors are divided into placket and concealed placket. The one where buttons can be seen in front is called placket, and the one sewn on the interlayer of clothes is called concealed placket.
