When Westerners put forward the "Chinese model," they gave people the impression that they were impressionistic. They mainly think that China, unlike other big powers in the modern history of the world, has risen suddenly and peacefully, and has driven the economy of Asia and the world like an engine, and they regard it as different from other big powers in terms of its outstanding characteristics, and thus call it the "China model". Russian scholars use the term "Chinese model", it is different; they use this reference from their own experience, understanding, from the difference between them and the Soviet model, contrast, therefore, they use this word and terminology, especially striking. The use of the term "Chinese model" by "insiders" and "outsiders" like them should be taken seriously by the Chinese academic community. In contrast, we Chinese people, Chinese scholars, use the "Chinese model" very cautiously, so far, recognized and used the "Chinese model", there are still very few people; on the contrary, think that socialism with Chinese characteristics still belongs to the Soviet Union model, there are many people, until not long ago, there are comrades published an article that socialism with Chinese characteristics still belongs to the Soviet Union model. Not long ago, a comrade published an article arguing that the "connotation" and "content" of the Soviet model and the Stalinist system were the Four Basic Principles put forward by Comrade Deng Xiaoping.
