The Dong people celebrate the Spring Festival, which is divided into New Year and New Year. Dong people call December 29th of the lunar calendar "the Year of Aunt", which is a festival to commemorate aunt. It means that sisters from generation to generation will go home to visit relatives and reunite during the New Year. In the early morning of New Year's Day, when firecrackers sounded in the whole village to welcome spring and accept blessings, the younger generation quickly picked up buckets, raised torches, rushed to the well platform and picked up handfuls of water to go home.
And eat slowly on New Year's Eve. In the words of adults, it feels like eating for a year. As one of the reasons why children love New Year's Eve, the elders will also give new year's red envelopes to the younger generation-lucky money!
