What was your impression of fireworks when you were a child?

As a young man born in 1980s, I will never forget the happiness and innocence of my childhood, and I will never forget the custom of setting off firecrackers in the New Year when I was a child. As a rural child born and raised, it is a manifestation of happiness and childlike innocence to set off some fireworks and firecrackers during the Chinese New Year. When I was a child, firecrackers were set off without geographical restrictions, unlike the strict management in the city. It can be said that fun is the nature of every child. When I was young, every New Year, especially on New Year's Eve, my parents always prepared some fireworks whips for us to play with. I remember that at that time, the power and sound of the small whip were much greater than now, and it was easy to get hurt if it was not handled properly, so my parents set off firecrackers before a penny, then we took a penny, and finally my parents lit firecrackers to let us enjoy the atmosphere and happiness brought by firecrackers. With the continuous development and progress of society, the fireworks set off by children nowadays are safer and more environmentally friendly, and the most important thing is to add a lot of fun, such as flying, spinning and even floating on the water. As we played when we were children, the content was not as rich as it is now, only fireworks, firecrackers and cannons, and there were no other tricks. But what is certain is that as a post-80s generation, the fireworks and firecrackers played at that time were not rich enough, but the Chinese New Year was more interesting and we were happy enough!
