It is the oldest folk art in Fengkai and is based on a sad legend.
The villagers in Yangchi Ancient Village are hospitable. If you like, you can visit their home and have a real farmhouse meal. Maxi carp is unique in cooking, especially in steaming. During Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty, an imperial envoy visited Zhaoqing. After eating the gift, he lamented that it was "a rare delicacy" and immediately sent someone back to Beijing as a gift to Empress Dowager Cixi. After the Queen Mother tasted it, Long Yan was very happy and awarded Wenlang the plaque of "the first pond king of Lingnan carp". The production of warm carp is very small, and it is mainly sold to Hong Kong, Macao and Southeast Asian countries.
