The traditional Tai Ji Chuan method is as follows.

Tai Ji Chuan's techniques include flowing, hitting, squeezing, pressing, picking and whipping.

1, boxing: four fingers together, bending into a ball, thumb, middle finger and forefinger together, and when you want to loosen, your fingers will tighten. Be careful when making a fist, neither too tight nor too loose. Too tight will affect blood circulation, too loose will be inconvenient. When punching, the fist should be in a straight line with the forearm, not outward (nor inward), but this is the most common situation.

2, palm method: the five fingers are naturally open, slightly bent, and the palm is round. Try to be natural, just cut the collar short with your index finger or little finger. For example, when the palm is upright, the index finger collar and the inner ring are connected with the little finger, which is a half-yin and half-yang palm method, meaning "neutralization"

3. Technology is the basic element of Tai Ji Chuan, and hand shape is the foundation of Tai Ji Chuan. There are many contents in this part, which can be learned from different angles, such as practicing the palm method once and the hook method once. Among them, the shape of the palm is the easiest to change. Boxing and hook are relatively easy to practice, so we can start from these two aspects when practicing.
