Introduction to Reba Dance
Reba dance is a dance form performed by Tibetan Reba dancers. Reba is a comprehensive art that consists of a group of vagrants (usually composed of families) who make a living as entertainers, mainly tambourines, and integrates rap, harmony (song and dance), acrobatics, qigong and Reba opera. It has a relatively fixed program, consisting of 12 programs, and the complete performance takes 5 hours. On May 20th, 2006, Reba Dance was approved by the State Council and included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
