Differences in moral education
From the classification of moral education, moral education includes private morality, public morality and professional ethics education. Private moral education is to cultivate students' moral awareness and behavior habits in private life, such as mutual respect, mutual understanding, mutual concern, honesty, loyalty, respect for the elderly and love for the young. Moral education is to cultivate students' moral awareness and behavior habits of national and social life that conform to social morality, such as observing social public order, paying attention to public health, caring for public property, protecting the environment, being courageous, and safeguarding national dignity and unity. Professional ethics education is to cultivate students' moral awareness and habits of professional life, such as loyalty, diligence, integrity, unity and cooperation. Public morality, private morality and professional ethics all contain three levels of moral requirements. Namely, moral ideals, moral principles and moral rules. Moral education includes moral education at the level of ideals, principles and rules.
Moral ideal education is to stimulate students' noble behavior in the form of moral initiative. Moral ideal is a realm that is difficult to fully realize, but it sets an ultimate goal for students to pursue constantly and inspires them to practice moral behavior hard.
Moral principle education is to guide students' correct behavior with moral instructions or moral initiatives. Moral principle is a requirement that the school thinks students can and should meet, but it has certain flexibility in implementation. It is the basic criterion to guide students' behavior. Moral rule education is to restrain students' bad behavior in the form of moral prohibition or moral teaching. This is because moral rules are inviolable minimum requirements and must be implemented. Among them, positive rules play a guiding role and negative rules play a binding role. Morality is a relatively stable feature and tendency of a certain moral norm in personal thought and behavior, and it is a synthesis of moral cognition, moral emotion and moral behavior. Morality belongs to individual category.
Moral cognition is the basis of the formation of individual moral quality; Moral emotion plays the role of stimulation, selection and adjustment in the formation of moral quality; Moral behavior is a behavior dominated by certain moral consciousness and moral motivation, and it is an important basis for measuring individual moral quality.
From the perspective of moral task, moral education includes three interrelated aspects: developing students' moral understanding, cultivating students' moral feelings and cultivating students' moral behavior.
