Ingredients: 100g water chestnut 250g water chestnut powder 150g yellow crystal sugar 600g water.
Production process:
1. Wash horseshoes, peel them, pat them gently with a knife and cut them into small pieces.
2. Pour the horseshoe powder into a large bowl, add 300g of water, and stir evenly to form the original powder slurry.
3. Pour the chopped horseshoe into the raw flour slurry and stir well.
4. Put the yellow rock sugar in the pot and add the remaining 300g of water.
5. Cook over high fire until the sugar melts and turns into syrup. When the syrup is completely boiled, add a tablespoon of raw starch slurry.
6. Stir while adding, and stir into thick and transparent cooked powder slurry.
7. Turn off the fire, pour it into the raw slurry while it is hot, and stir it quickly and evenly while adding it to make a semi-cooked slurry.
8. Pour the mixed slurry into a mold or shallow container and steam it in a steamer for 20-30 minutes until it is transparent.
9. After cooling, cut into pieces or cut into a favorite shape to eat.

1. The authentic method may use yellow sugar, but I didn't find it, so I used yellow rock sugar, which is not so yellow.
