Basic concepts of ecological values

Ecological values are the values that deal with the relationship between ecology and people; The manifestations of ecological value include three aspects: economic value, ethical value and functional value.

Ecological value refers to the special embodiment of "general value" in philosophy, including the economic judgment of human subjects in meeting their own needs and development, the ethical judgment of human beings in dealing with the relationship between subject and object of ecological environment, and the systematic function judgment of natural ecosystems as independent human subjects.

Concept from a psychological point of view: Ecological values refer to ecological concepts endowed with social or personal significance by individuals or groups, which can make people have positive emotional experiences such as happiness and are willing to do it in practice. Individual's ecological values include individual's cognition, emotion and behavior intention to ecology.
