What is Teaching Structured

Teaching Structured is a structured teaching interview. A structured teaching interview is a form of assessment in which a team of examiners talks to and observes a candidate face-to-face. The content, questions, scoring criteria, marking methods and a host of other issues involved in the interview are standardized and systematically designed. It can be said to be a standardized and regulated examination.

I, the meaning of structured interview

The characteristics of structured interviews

The systematic structure of structured interviews is mainly manifested in the following aspects:

(1) standardization of test questions

1. The elements of assessment are generally extracted according to the requirements of the proposed position, and the recruitment of teachers is usually 5-7 elements of assessment;

2. Generally corresponds to 1-2 test elements, giving the scoring criteria;

3. The same set of questions should be used for candidates who are to be appointed to the same type of position;

Generally need to arrive 10-30 minutes in advance to the designated location to report, the examination staff to verify the candidate's identity documents and interview notice and other relevant documents. After entering the waiting room, the staff of the examination area will read out the discipline of the examination room, after reading out, the candidates should surrender their communication tools. After that, candidates will draw lots to determine the grouping and the order of entry.

(2) Waiting for the examination

The candidate who draws the first place will be brought to the interview room by the staff for the interview, while the other candidates will wait for the examination in the waiting room. The waiting room and the interview room are completely segregated, and candidates waiting for the examination will not be able to know anything about the candidates conducting the interview in front of them.

Once the candidate is seated, the examiner will read the interview rules to the candidate and the interview will begin.

The questions are generally in two forms: a question booklet form and a reading. In answering the questions, it may be that the candidate reads all the questions first, concentrates his/her thoughts and answers them consecutively, or it may be that for every question asked by the examiner, the candidate answers one.
