After a long time, clothes have a special taste. How to get rid of it quickly?
If your clothes don't have a washing label, wash them with cold water to avoid accidental shrinkage or damage to the fabric. If the clothes are expensive, it is best to dry-clean them for safety reasons.
2. Soak clothes in water first. Fill a clean bucket or basin with warm water, pour 30 grams of detergent, and put the clothes to be deodorized in. Soak for about half an hour.
You can also add lemon juice squeezed by half a lemon into the soaking solution to promote the decomposition of human fat that penetrates into the cloth.
If the washing label says that clothes can only be washed in cold water, use cold water instead of warm water.
3. Brush a particularly smelly place. Find a soft hair cleaning brush and gently scrub the particularly uncomfortable places on the clothes. If you are washing sportswear, you should probably concentrate on scrubbing underarms or necklines.
This method works better after pre-soaking clothes, but it is still effective even if it is not soaked. If you choose to skip the soaking step, soak the clothes in water before brushing your teeth.
4. Add 230 grams of baking soda to the detergent. Baking soda is often used as a deodorant to remove the smell from clothes. If washing powder is used, add baking soda and washing powder to the detergent box. If you use liquid detergent, add baking soda after the washbasin is filled with water.
5. Use oxidizing bleach. Unlike chlorine bleach, oxidation bleach is unlikely to cause clothes to fade, which can effectively eliminate odor. In addition, it is more environmentally friendly and less corrosive to fabrics. Oxidative bleach should be used with ordinary detergents.
Although oxidizing bleach usually does not cause fading, if the label on the washing label of clothes says "No Bleaching", don't use bleach.
6. Try borax laundry detergent. Borax can be used to eliminate odor, remove stains and even soften water quality. Many household brands have introduced laundry detergent products containing borax, which can save the trouble of adding borax separately. Use it instead of ordinary laundry detergent. If the clothes smell particularly bad, you can also add oxidative bleach, baking soda and other things.
If you can't buy borax washing powder, you can dissolve 1 10g borax powder in hot water and pour it into the detergent box together with your ordinary detergent. After the washbasin is filled with water, pour in borax solution.
7. Add 240 ml of white vinegar in the washing process. Vinegar is a cheap natural product, which can eliminate the odor that penetrates into clothes and fabrics. Adding white vinegar in the washing process can neutralize the odor without weakening the cleaning effect of washing powder. If the smell on the clothes is particularly strong, add 240 ml of vinegar.
If the smell is particularly bad, you can use this additive with baking soda.
