The Qingming Festival, also known as the Treading Green Festival, the Hsingqing Festival, the March Festival, and the Ancestor Sacrifice Festival, is celebrated at the intersection of mid-spring and late spring. The Qingming Festival originates from the belief in ancestors and the rituals of spring festival in the ancient times, which has both natural and humanistic connotations, and is both a natural festival point and a traditional festival. Tomb-sweeping and ancestor worship, as well as trekking are the two main themes of Qingming Festival, which have been passed down from ancient times in China and are still practiced today.
