What is building sand aggregate?
Aggregates can be divided into several categories:
Aggregates are generally divided into two categories according to aggregate particle size: (1):
Coarse aggregate: rock particles with a particle size greater than 4.75mm, such as pebbles and gravels;
Fine aggregate: rock particles with particle size less than 4.75mm, such as river sand, mountain sand and sea sand.
(2) According to the density of aggregate, it is divided into:
Ordinary aggregate: the density is 2500-2700 kg/m;
Lightweight aggregate: the density is 0~ 1000kg/m, such as ceramsite, calcined shale, expanded vermiculite, expanded perlite, foamed plastic particles, etc.
Heavy aggregate: the density is 3500-4000 kg/m, such as iron ore and barite.
