Is "feminism" correct?

Feminism is correct.

First, feminism is conducive to improving women's rights.

Feminism has greatly improved women's rights, especially in political life and social status. Among them, women's right to vote, equal pay for equal work, equality of both parties in marriage, the right to abortion and pregnancy, and the right to education are more important, which were unimaginable in the previous society. It was not until 1920 that women in the United States had the right to vote.

Second, the development of feminism is conducive to the improvement of female employment rate.

Take the United States as an example About 1950, the employment rate of married women in the United States was only 1 1%, but after the women's movement, the employment rate of married women in the United States rose to 50% in 1978. In China, the employment rate of women after marriage reaches 77%. It makes full use of human resources and contributes to economic development.

Thirdly, feminism improves women's ability to choose their own names.

As far as the West is concerned, a woman should take her husband's surname after marriage, while in China, except for marrying a chicken, children's names are basically taken after their husband's surname. Under the influence of feminism, children keep their surnames, and children use their mothers' surnames, or couples' surnames.

4. Feminism affects reality conceptually.

Many feminists now support the use of neutral language. In our Chinese, it used to be a substitute word, but with the rise of feminism, TA is now used more without any gender orientation. Because, feminists believe that the use of language directly affects the concept in reality.
