I will learn traditional culture. I can do it.
As the saying goes: March 3, fly a kite. There is even an ancient poem that says: Children come back from school early, so they are busy flying kites in the east wind. So, students, do you know how to draw beautiful patterns on kites? Do you know how to make kites? Do you know how to make a kite fly high and smoothly? Can you write couplets? Do you know the essentials of writing beautiful calligraphy?
With a laundry list of questions, our Xingmeng holiday team came to Hangzhou Arts and Crafts Museum to visit Cheng Dishen, the legendary "kite king", and went to Canal Square to visit Jiang Pixiang, a master of folk calligraphy, to unveil the mystery for you!
When we walked into the spacious "Kite" studio, the first thing that caught our eye was the dazzling array of colorful kites on the wall, which were really beautiful, especially the dragon kites and the tiger kites. My friends and I were shocked! Sitting in a chair, my heart is full of joy and excitement: traditional culture, here we come! Next, we learn from Teacher Cheng how to draw on a kite. Teacher Cheng told us that the basic requirement of kite painting is that the colors should be bright, simple and big, so that kites can be clearly distinguished even if they fly to high places. Each of our team members immediately drew lots as required. Look, this is a dancing butterfly, and that is a tiger with its teeth bared. Ah! There are photos of pirates over there, which scared me ... After painting, Teacher Cheng gave us small bamboo strips and began to teach us to make kites: find the bamboo green surface of the bamboo strips, coat a layer of black and white glue on the bamboo strips along the bamboo green, and then stick the bamboo strips on the corresponding position of the kite paper. We glued three strips, two horizontal and one vertical. Such a beautiful kite appeared in front of us, and we couldn't wait to thread it, flew down like smoke, and started the test flight "work" in the empty square. The wind is blowing slightly, flying kites, and also blowing our sunny smiles. We happily "reported good news" to Teacher Cheng one after another-all five kites flew well.
Finally, Mr. Cheng also told us some methods to adjust the kite: for example, pulling the back of the horizontal bar with thin wires to make the kite become a curved surface, which can make the kite fly more stably; If the kite deviates to the left, the upper line moves a little to the left; To the right, it moves a little to the right; If it is far from the height, it will shorten the upper contour line; If it is high and unstable, it will shorten the next line ... We are fascinated by it and lament the profoundness of China's traditional culture!
After flying kites, we went to Canal Square to visit folk calligrapher Jiang Pixiang. There are pictures of Mr. Jiang's calligraphy works in the square, and the words on them are flying with dragons and phoenixes, which makes people applaud. Teacher Jiang briefly introduced the essentials of writing brush: hold the pen correctly, carry it steadily, use it forcefully, find the center of the word, the most important structure of the word ... We kept nodding. At first, we were all afraid and careful to write, but with the encouragement of my mother and teacher Jiang, we gradually became generous. When we write well, even several grandfathers praised us! We were all very happy when we heard it.
Through this group activity, we know that kite, couplets and writing brush calligraphy are treasures in the traditional culture of Han nationality in China. We will continue to inherit and carry forward these excellent traditional cultures in the future, and let them shine the most dazzling light in the world!
