How to clean shaving blades
Parts 1: Remove deposits and foreign bodies.
1, wash the blade. Turn on the tap and put the razor head under it for cleaning. If necessary, you can remove the blade and wash it, but you must be very careful when removing and washing it. Washing the back of the cutter head with water can wash away the hair, residual shaving cream and other sticky things on the blade. Turn the razor while washing, and let the water wash the blade from different angles. If the dirt is dry, it is better to use hot water when washing, so it is easier to loosen.
In most cases, just rinse the blade clean.
2. Tap the razor frame on the edge of the sink. A few quick knocks can shake off the attached foreign body. You can pat it a few times when you wash it. But be careful not to use too much force, or the cutter head or handle will be easily damaged. Continue tapping and rinsing until there are no foreign objects on the cutter head.
Do not touch the blade with your hands, and do not operate the blade directly with your hands. If you are not careful, you will cut yourself.
3. Brush off all remaining foreign objects with a brush. If rinsing alone is not enough to clean the blade, then a special razor cleaning brush may come in handy. In a steady motion, pick up the brush and sweep the blade vertically. The bristles of the brush can penetrate into the gap between the blades to remove dirt that cannot be achieved by other methods. You can buy razor brushes in most pharmacies, supermarkets or places where sanitary products are sold.
If you don't have a special razor brush, you can also use an idle toothbrush. Make sure the toothbrush is clean before cleaning the blade.
4. Dry the blade thoroughly. After removing the deposits as much as possible, put the razor in a ventilated place to dry. Keep the air around the shaver circulating. After drying, you can put it back. Humidity for a long time will lead to the blade rusting and unsafe, and it will also affect the shaving effect.
There is water on the razor and it will breed mold, which is very unsanitary.
Wipe the blade gently with a super-fine fiber towel with strong water absorption, or set the blower to low temperature mode to blow against the blade, which can make the blade dry faster.

Our experts believe that in order to clean razors, the blades can be washed with soapy water. Then dry the blade, put it in a sleeve or box and put it in a drawer. If the razor is inserted into a cup or placed on the razor holder, the moisture in the bathroom will cause the blade to rust.
Part 2: Sterilized shaving blades
1, pour a little medical alcohol into a shallow container. Ordinary isopropanol has a natural antibacterial effect, so it helps to remove bacteria from personal hygiene products such as razors. Pour enough alcohol to drown the razor head. In order to achieve the best effect, the purity of alcohol should not be lower than 70%.
Medical alcohol can be bought everywhere, which is convenient and safe to use. You can usually further disinfect the razor by finding out the medical alcohol in your home.
If you don't have alcohol on hand, you can also use distilled white vinegar or hydrogen peroxide instead of alcohol.
2. Soak the razor head in alcohol. Gently shake the razor back and forth. After a few seconds, most annoying bacteria on the blade will be destroyed. The alcohol flowing through the blade also helps to remove the residual foreign matter.
3. Let the blade soak for 5 to 10 minutes. If you haven't cleaned the razor for a while, or there is a lot of dirt on the razor, you should clean it more thoroughly. The longer the razor is soaked, the better the effect of alcohol on decomposing stubborn stains. You can soak the whole razor in alcohol, vinegar or hydrogen peroxide solution. This can dissolve the dirt attached to the handle and the bottom of the blade, and thoroughly clean the whole razor.
4. Dry the razor. Blades soaked in alcohol don't need cleaning. Shake off the excess alcohol and put the razor on a ventilated surface to dry. It shouldn't be long. Medical alcohol volatilizes quickly, so the razor dries quickly. Unlike water, alcohol can actually prevent metals from rusting.
Store the blades in a safe place to prevent accidents.
